Twitter, Jeremiah, and Teresa’s Webinar

by Jason Preston on November 28, 2007

This is way cool. Teresa is in the middle of an awesome Webinar about Facebook in the other room right now, and as I’m listening to her present, I start seeing Tweets pop up in Twitter about what she’s saying.

It turns out that our Keynote speaker Jeremiah Owyang is attending the webinar, and Tweeting some of the juicier quotes (which there are many - I’m jealous, being quoted is on my 101 list!). All these networks are linked, and people are interacting across multiple networks simultaneously. That is way cool:

[ Update: Teresa doesn't know Jeremiah is listening. She just said "if you're here, Jeremiah, "Hello!" She quoted him...

people are responding to the tweets and joining the webinar...this is so cool!

Online events (and real world ones) are exceptionally more exciting and interesting when the audience gets to talk back.

Looking forward to seeing you all next week. Jason, great list, I’m going to consider creating my own!

@jeremiah Thanks! And you did compile you’re own, but in the e-mail it’s all fancy with links and pictures…and I can’t figure out how you did that (or more importantly, how to get it into this post!).

Time slips away. I will add it to this post as soon as I get a free minute!
