Interview with Dean Browell from ND&P Agency: Using Facebook to retain talent and membership

I actually recorded this interview with Dean before Thanksgiving, and I do have an explanation for myself: proprietary formats.

“What?” you ask, “could that possibly excuse?”

I grabbed this nifty little program called PMRecorder for my windows mobile phone, which lets me record phone calls. That’s how I managed to get a recording of our conversation. But it turns out that it records the file in some wonky, proprietary format that plays back on the phone, but not on my computer, and certainly isn’t editable in something like Audacity.

So it took me a week and some Googling to figure out that “all” I needed to do to get a WAV file was to pick up a Hex Editor, and remove certain portions of the metadata…

…long story short, I now have the interview for you. And it’s a good one, too. Sorry, Dean, for the delay!
