How to Bring Multiple RSS Feeds into Facebook - A Facebook Tutorial
Many of us geeky Web-oriented types have blogs — sometimes more than one of them. And it’s only natural that we should want to share all the goings-on in our bloggy worlds with our network inside Facebook. We want to share our content and our opinions because sharing content starts conversations, and conversations start communities.
Just look at Scoble. His blog is a community in and of itself, but he’s using Facebook to suck in his content. He’s starting a conversation inside Facebook and that has expanded and enhanced his ability to build community around his passions and interests.
It’s commonly known that Facebook allows you to suck in only one RSS feed, but with a little trickery using Google Reader and Feedburner, you too can bring two or more RSS feeds safely and effectively into Facebook. Here’s how:
I’m sure there’s something I’ve neglected to mention here. Do you have another method of doing this?

Hi Teresa, thanks for the great tutorial. This was my project today. I followed your instructions and consolidated my feeds. I also joined Facebook today so I could post the new feed there. I’ll also be putting this feed on my lensography page at Squidoo. I took it one step further and through Feedburner, I activated email subscriptions so that people who really love to read what I wrote can get an email whenever I update a blog or write an article at Gather. I have many blogs, so this will help a lot! Here’s my new Facebook page: Linda Jo Martin.
Be sure that the tag you use in Google Reader does not have a space in it, as it will cause an error while trying to burn a feed in Feedburner.
Thanks, I was spending the last few days trying to find a facebook app that does exactly that.
Hey,
Just a quick post to say that your #1 for “facebook multiple rss” in Google
.
. Problem solved!
I had a slight trouble following your instructions. I’m new to FeedBurner and didn’t know how to get the Google Reader RSS feed into it. However I found that FeedBurner will take a web page URL and find the RSS feed from it
Thanks!
I followed these instructions and so far on my facebook I only see one of the feeds, instead of the consolidated one. I am a bit confused because indeed both feeds are in my consolidated folder. Why can’t I jus import my google public page, why does it have to be via feedburner?
